Where does sound originate in the body? How can voice become movement? This new work for 3 dancers and 3 musicians draws its inspiration from Meredith Monk’s “Epic,” Peter Sciscioli’s own idiosyncratic movement vocabulary, and his experience performing Monk’s work. The 3 singers are directly worked into the staging of the piece, crafted differently for each of the spaces in which it will be performed.
